How to Change an Animated Cursor Icon

You can change your cursor at any time from the Mouse properties window.

If you are tired of the cursor on your computer, you can change it very easily. You can replace any cursor icon with an animated or non-moving cursor icon, depending on your preferences. Cursor icons are set from the Mouse properties, located in the Control panel.

• Computer running Windows operating system

Instructions

1. Open the Start Menu, click "Control Panel" and open the "Mouse Properties" window. Click on the tab labeled "Pointers" at the top of the Mouse Properties.

2. Choose a premade scheme from the drop-down menu if you would like to change all of your icons. Alternatively, select the mouse cursor action from the window labeled "Customize" and click browse to change the icon.

3. From the file browser, select the new icon you would like to use and click "Open." Click "OK" to save your changes.
