How Can I Download Free Movies Onto a CD?
Downloading copyrighted movies for free is illegal, and burning DVDs is expensive and time consuming, but you can legally download free, non-copyrighted movies and burn them to a CD in minutes. When you burn a DVD, you have to wait through the length of the entire movie for it to burn, but burning movie files to CDs is immediate and does not require any special software.

1
Go to a BitTorrent file-sharing Web site (such as Mininova). It's best to use a BitTorrent file-sharing Web site that only carries legal, non copyrighted files. You won't find any mainstream Hollywood movies at these sites, but you will find small-budget projects that the filmmakers uploaded for free viewing.
-
2
Search through the movie database. If you know the specific title of your movie, you can enter it in the search field. The location of the search field may vary from site to site. On most sites you can also browse titles by clicking the mouse on a tab labeled "Browse Categories" or "Browse Torrents." If you cannot find either of these options, there should be a similar option available.

3
Click on the movie that interests you. This will take you to a page containing detailed information on the movie you've selected, such as file size, download ratio and film language. Click the download option, which should say something similar to "Download Torrent" or "Download." You will be asked whether you would like to open or save the file. Select "Open" and click "OK." This will open your BitTorrent client, and a menu will appear asking whether you want to add the Torrent. Click "OK," and your BitTorrent client will do all the work to download your file. When your file download reaches 100 percent, your download is complete, and the movie is ready to be watched.
-
4
Locate where the file downloaded to. Most BitTorrent clients download files into your "Download" folder by default.
-
5
Right-click the file and select "Copy."
-
6
Put a CD in your CD writer drive.
-
7
Click "Explore Files" on the menu that appears. This will open the files on the disc. Because you are using a blank CD, the folder will be empty. Right-click anywhere in the folder and select "Paste." Your movie file will be created within the folder.
-
8
Click "Burn Files to CD" from the menu on the left.
