How to Fix MSN Errors
MSN is an free instant messenger program that allows you to chat instantly with other individuals. However, while using MSN, you may run into a few issues such as the program crashing on you, error messages appearing on the screen or the program running slowly. All of these issues can be corrected with just a few simple troubleshooting steps.

Download the latest version of MSN from MSN.com. Simply upgrading to the most up-to-date version of MSN can correct the issues you are running into.

Close other Internet programs while using MSN if it is running slow, or if you are using a dial-up Internet connection. A dial-up Internet service can quickly slow down when using more than one Internet program.

Hold down "CTRL," "ALT" and "Delete" to open the Windows Task Manager.

Click the "Process" tab and click one of the "MSNMSGR.exe" titles. If there are multiple tiles, it means you have a program running in the background, causing it to crash. Select all of the "MSNMSGR.exe" titles and click "End Task" to end the task, and it closes the other MSN chat program, allowing you to run the program.
