How to Brighten Up White Fabric Without Bleach Using Home Products

Brighten up white fabric without bleach using a simple home product you may already have. The process is no more difficult than pouring chlorine bleach into your washing machine. Things You'll Need
- 1 cup hydrogen peroxide (3 percent)
- Laundry basket
- Clothesline
- Clothespins

Place your white laundry items into the washing machine. Add an appropriate amount of laundry detergent to the washing machine. Set the water temperature to the warmest setting appropriate for the items you are washing.

Measure 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide and pour it into the bleach dispenser of your washing machine.

Start the machine and allow it to progress through the entire wash cycle.

Remove the items from the washing machine and place them into the laundry basket.

Hang the items outside on the clothesline with the clothespins (preferably in the bright sunshine). Sunshine has a natural bleaching effect on clothes.

Remove the items from the clothesline when they are dry.
