Instructions

    • 1

      Open iTunes on your computer.

    • 2

Insert the CD you wish to download. iTunes will automatically find the names for the songs if you are connected to the Internet. If you are not connected to the Internet, you can manually enter the song names by selecting the first song, clicking on "File" and selecting "Get Info."

    • 3

Click the "Import CD" button on the top right side of iTunes. iTunes will start playing the CD while it is importing the music. Press the stop button if you don't want the CD to play.

    • 4

Click the "Eject" button to eject the CD. It is on the bottom-right side of iTunes.

    • 5

Connect your iPod nano to your computer with the USB cable that came with your iPod. All the new music you added to iTunes from the CD will download to your iPod.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you set iTunes to update your iPod manually, you must drag the new songs to the iPod icon in iTunes.
