How to Calculate Win Rate

Calculate the percentage win rate of games.

The win rate gives you an idea of the likelihood that you have of winning at a game when you sit down to play. Win rate takes into account the number of games you have played in the past and the number of times you win. Use this percentage for any type of game played from home poker games to calculating the win rate for your favorite professional team.

• Number of total games played
• Number of total games won
• Calculator

Instructions

1. Divide the number of games won by the number of total games played. For instance, if you won seven of the last 10 games: 7/10 = 0.7

2. Multiply this number by 100 to find the percentage of your win rate. For the example: 0.7 x 100 = 50 percent win rate.

3. Subtract the number of games won from the total games played to find the number of games lost. For the example: 10 -- 7 = 3 games lost.

4. Find the loss percentage by dividing the number of games lost by the total played and multiplying the result by 100. For the example: 3/10 = 0.3 x 100 = 30 percent loss rate.
