Your Sony Walkman MP3 player has a playlist feature that enables you to add lists of your favorite songs to the device. To create a playlist from the music library on your computer, use the Windows Media Player application. In Windows Media Player, you can create playlists to organize your music by artist, album, year or genre. Once you've made a playlist, Windows Media Player allows you to quickly sync it to the Walkman.

Create a Playlist

Step 1

Click the Start button, then click "All Programs" and "Windows Media Player."

Step 2

Click "Playlists" on the left side of the window, then click "Click here" to create a new playlist.

Step 3

Type a name for the playlist, then press "Enter."

Step 4

Click "Library" to see a list of all the music on your computer.

Step 5

Drag items to the playlist you just created on the left side of the window. Click the playlist name to view the songs you've added to the playlist.

Step 6

Drag the songs up and down to arrange them in the order you want. Alternatively, right click a song and select "Move up" or "Move down."

Step 7

Click "Save list" when you finish adding and organizing songs to the playlist.

Transfer Playlist to the Walkman
