How to Use Xilisoft Video Converter
Xilisoft Video Converter is a desktop video conversion program that can be used to convert a wide range of video file formats into a variety of other formats. A range of high definition formats are available and you can split one video file into several smaller file for convenient file sharing or storage on multimedia devices. The program also offer the functionality to convert some audio file formats.

Download and install the Xilisoft Video Converter program by clicking on the link located in Resources. Double-click on the downloaded file to run it.

Choose your preferred language from the drop-down menu and click the "OK" button. Click "Next" to confirm the installation for all users. Read the license agreement and click the "I Agree" button.

Select "Full" from the type of installation drop-down menu and click the "Next" button. Click "Next" to confirm the installation directory. Click "Next" to confirm the Start menu program folder and shortcut creation. Click the "Install" button.

Make sure there is check in the "Run Xilisoft Video Converter..." box and click the "Finish" button. The program will open automatically.

Click the "Add File" button on the toolbar near the top of the program window. Choose a video file from your computer by clicking on it in the "Select one or more files" dialog box and click the "Open" button. You can select several files by clicking on one, holding the CTRL key and clicking on other files. If you choose several files to convert, they will be merged into one file of the chosen format during the conversion process.

Choose a video file format by clicking on the "Profile" menu at the bottom of the program window. Hover over an option on the left side of the menu to bring up video file formats associated with that device or category. Click on the video file format into which you would like to convert your file.

Click the "Browse" button to specify a location for saving output files. Click the green "Convert Checked Items" button on the toolbar near the top of the program window to begin the video format conversion process. The green bar at the bottom of the program window will display the progress of the file conversion.

Open the output file and play it in your default media player to confirm that the file is free from any errors and the file conversion was successful.
