Some computer viruses do not allow you to access your antivirus programs.

A computer virus is a program that has the ability to spread itself from one computer to another. Most computer viruses are designed to complete some malicious task. For example, a computer virus might delete your files, disable your disk drives, or flood your computer with pop-ups. Moreover, some computer viruses disable your virus scanner in an effort to avoid detection and deletion.
