How to Learn Outlook Online
Outlook is a very powerful time productivity tool, allowing you to manage your mail, contacts, appointments and to-do lists in one place. Mastering the basic use of Outlook is comparatively easy, and once you've got the hang of the program, there are a number of advanced functions that can really enhance your productivity.

- Computer with Microsoft Outlook 2007 and Web Browser (such as Explorer)

Start Outlook by turning on your computer, clicking on the "Start" button on the lower left of the screen, and clicking on the orange Outlook icon.

Follow the directions that appear on your screen (these will only happen the first time you log in). This will allow you to configure your Outlook to your email provider and other particulars.

Open your browser, and navigate to the Microsoft Office Outlook Training Course. The course is divided into seven modules, each of which deals with different aspects of Microsoft Outlook. Although the course is geared toward Outlook 2007, there is a link for those with Outlook 2003 to learn Outlook.

Each of the modules features different "courses." Click on the appropriate course in each module in order, and follow the tutorial, which is presented with an audio track, as well.

Tips & Warnings
Note the white box in the top right of the Outlook screen with the text, "Type a question for help"--this box will link you to useful information that should solve most issues.
Be sure to test your email settings by sending and receiving messages to an email account you can check via web access.
