How to Sync Music to iPod Playlists
No matter what iPod model you have---an iPhone, iPod touch, iPod classic, iPod nano or iPod shuffle---you must employ iTunes on your computer to sync all music, videos, audiobooks and podcasts. ITunes lets you sync either automatically when you connect your device, or manually. You also can sync specific playlists to your iPod. Once synced, the playlists created in the iTunes Library will appear as playlists on your iPod.
