How to Hook Up an Extra TV to a Direct TV Converter

Connect a DirecTV converter to a HD satellite receiver to hook up two TVs.

A DirecTV converter transforms high-definition satellite programming into a signal that can be viewed on standard-definition TV sets. The converter resembles a coaxial signal splitter for attaching two televisions to a single line and connects in precisely the same way. A pair of coaxial cables with couplers on each end is needed to complete the setup between the DirecTV receiver, the converter and two TV sets.
