If you frequently resize your Internet Explorer windows, you may notice that the size of the window is different each time you open your browser. To rectify this issue, you need to reset the size of the page so that it will consistently default to a maximized page. With a few clicks of your mouse, you can easily make Internet Explorer open in a new maximized page.

Instructions

    • 1

      Launch Internet Explorer.

    • 2

Go to the upper right corner of the browser window that appears. Hit the middle square button until you see three diagonal lines in the bottom right corner of the window.

    • 3

Put your cursor on the right bottom corner of the Internet Explorer window where you see the three diagonal lines. Press and hold your left mouse button. Move the cursor to the right bottom corner of your screen so the window gets larger.

    • 4

Press and hold the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard. Hit "File" in the main menu bar, scroll down and click "Exit."

    • 5

Restart your browser. It will now open as a maximized window as will all the pages you open in the future.
