How to Remove Coffee Stains From a White Coffee Maker
Coffee has become a staple in many people's daily lives, and one that you may need in order to "function" in the morning. As often as you use your coffee maker, you may not always take the time to clean it on a regular basis. A less than clean coffee maker on the inside can leave the coffee tasting stale. A dirty coffee maker on the outside, especially a white one, is unsightly. If you have ugly coffee stains on your white coffee maker, one common household product can help. Does this Spark an idea?

Mix a solution of ½ cup hot water and ½ cup vinegar.

Dip a cloth in the vinegar/water solution. Scrub the stains on the outside of your coffee maker until they are no longer visible.

Mix a solution of dish detergent and hot water. Dip a cloth in the solution and wipe down the outside of the coffee maker to remove the vinegar smell and residue.

Rinse your cloth, and wipe down the coffee maker one last time to remove detergent.

Tips & Warnings
To clean the inside of your coffee maker, place a clean filter in the filter basket. Pour vinegar in the opening where you would usually pour water to make coffee. Turn your coffee maker on and let the vinegar run through the coffee maker. Run two pots of water through the pot to remove the vinegar.
