How to Copy Songs From an iPod Touch to a Computer
The iPod Touch, also known as the iTouch is a new model of the popular iPod media player that utilizes a touch screen and new sleek design that is similar to Apple's iPhone. While syncing music from the iTunes application to the iTouch may be a simple process for some, few know how to reverse the process. With a simple drag and drop method, however, you can easily transfer your favorite songs from the iPod to your computer's hard drive.

Connect your iPod Touch to your computer using the provided USB cable.

Click "Cancel" when the iTunes application launches and minimize the window.

Click the "Start" button on your computer desktop and click "My Computer." Open the "iPod" folder and double-click "MUSIC" inside the "iPod Control" folder.

Open an empty folder on your computer where you want to copy the iTouch songs.

Drag the songs from the "MUSIC" folder into your chosen saved folder. The songs will transfer to that folder. When the transfer is complete, disconnect the iTouch from the computer.
