Microsoft Office Word 2007 is best known for its word processing capabilities. But it can also make numerous other types of documents using templates, which come with the program. Microsoft also provides them for free on its website. Using these pre-made document designs, users can create their own business cards.

Instructions

  1. Pre-loaded Word 2007 templates

      Click the Office button in the top left corner of the program's window and then click "Open." A dialogue window appears where you can select from numerous files to open, including templates.

      Click "Templates" in the left pane. A list of pre-loaded templates appears.

      Click your desired business card template. It's possible your copy of Word 2007 has no business card template. If so, check for business card templates on the Microsoft Office website.

      Enter your information on the business card by clicking on each field and typing in the information.

      Go to the Microsoft Office Templates website and browse the business card templates (see the Resources section for a link.) Notice the preview of the business card next to its name in the browse list.

      Click on your desired business card template. A summary page opens where you can opt to download the template.

      Click "Download." Choose to either save the file to your computer or open the template once you finish installing it.

      Enter your information on the business card by clicking on each field and typing in the information.
