How to Make & View the My Picture Buttons on MySpace

MySpace is a social networking website that makes sharing pictures easy. By inserting the appropriate code into your MySpace profile, you will be able to create your own "View My Picture" links and buttons. You can create both text and graphic buttons and place them anywhere in your profile.

Instructions

1. Log in to your MySpace account my entering your username and password. Click "Log In."

2. Click the "Edit Profile" link below your profile picture on your MySpace homepage.

3. Choose where you want to insert the "View My Picture" button (either the "About Me" or "Interests" sections of your profile. Paste the following code into your preferred section: <a href="http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewAlbums&friendID=FRIENDIDHERE">View My Pictures</a>

4. Replace "FRIENDIDHERE with your Friend ID. If you do not know your Friend ID, go to your profile, click on "View Photos" and copy the number at the end of the URL.

5. Change the "View My Pictures" text to anything you want to guide your friends to see your pictures.

6. If you would like to add an image for your friends to click to view your pictures, simply copy the URL of the image you want and place it in an image source tag after your Friend ID. For example, <a href="http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewAlbums&friendID=FRIENDIDHERE"><img src="YOURIMAGEURLHERE.gif"</a>. Replace "YOURIMAGEURLEHERE" with the appropriate image URL. Your image URL may look something like this: "http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll260/girlycutegraphics/graphics/pics3.gif"

7. When you are finished, click "Save Changes." Your "View My Pictures" link or button will now be displayed on your MySpace profile!
