Hotmail or Windows Live provides email service via the Internet. Since it does not cost any money to set up a Hotmail account, many such accounts exist, so it becomes difficult to find a user. However, if you desire to locate someone with a Hotmail account for business or family reasons, you can work through Windows Live ID to search for this data.

Step 1

Sign in to your Hotmail account.

Step 2

Click your mouse on the Live "Home" link.

Step 3

Locate the search box that says "Search People or Web." Click your mouse one time in the box and then click the words "Search People" via your pull-down box. Type in the name of the individual whose email address you desire to find and push "Enter."

Step 4

Browse through your results list and click the link of the individual who you want to find.

Step 5

Click "Profile" and look through the person's data to obtain his email information. Then, send him a message via your Hotmail account.
