How to Mod Cars on "GTA SA" for XBox

“Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas,” released in 2004, was the first game in the “Grand Theft Auto” series to allow you to customize your vehicles in one of the game's three mod shops. Transfender performs general modifications to most vehicles, Loco Low Co. specializes in low-riders, and Wheel Angels specializes in street racing cars. Of the different mod shops, Transfender has three locations, one in each city, while Loco Low Co. and Wheel Angels only have one location each. Mod shops are marked on your map by red wrenches.

Instructions

Transfender

1. Acquire one of the following vehicles, any one of which can be modded at a Transfender modshop: Buffalo, Bullet, Banshee, Cheetah, Comet, Infernus, Phoenix, Super GT, Turismo, Windsor, Z-350, Admiral, Alpha, Blista Compact, Bobcat, Bravura, Buccaneer, Cadrona, Cabbie, Clover, Club, Elegant, Emperor, Esperanto, Euros, Feltzer, Fortune, Glendale, Greenwood, Hermes, Huntley, Hustler, Intruder, Landstalker, Majestic, Manana, Merit, Mesa, Nebula, Oceanic, Perennial, Picador, Premier, Previon, Primo, Rancher, Regina, Romero, Sabre, Sentinel, Solair, Stafford, Stallion, Stretch, Sunrise, Tampa, Taxi, Vincent, Virgo, Walton, Washington or Willard.

2. Look for Transfender mod shops in the following locations: Los Santos: Temple, San Fierro: Doherty, Las Venturas: Come-A-Lot.

   The Los Santos Transfender is unlocked after you compete the mission “Cesar Vialpando.” The other locations are unlocked as soon as you reach the city they are located in.

3. Drive the car you want to modify into the car mod garage.

4. Select the features you want to change.

   Transfender mod shops allow you to customize your vehicle's paint job, exhaust pipes, hood and roof scoops, spoilers, fog lamps and wheels. Additional features include nitro, bass boost, off-road wheels and hydraulics. Note that every feature list is not available for every vehicle.

Loco Low Co.

1. Acquire one of the following vehicles: Blade, Broadway, Remington, Savanna, Slamvan, Tahoma, Tornado or Voodoo.

2. Look for the Loco Low Co. mod shop in Playa Del Seville, Los Santos.

   Like the Los Santos Transfender mod shop, Loco Low Co. is unlocked after completing the mission “Cesar Vialpando.”

3. Drive the car you want to modify into the car mod garage.

4. Select the features you want to change.

   Loco Low Co. allows you to customize your vehicle's paint job, bumpers, roof, exhaust pipes, spoilers, side skirts and wheels. Additional features include nitro, bass boost and hydraulics.

Wheel Angels

1. Acquire one of the following vehicles: Elegy, Flash, Jester, Stratum, Sultan or Uranus.

2. Look for the Wheel Angels mod shop in Ocean Flats, San Fierro.

   You will have to purchase Wang Autos, complete all car collection missions and complete driving school in order to unlock this garage.

3. Drive the car you want to modify into the car mod garage.

4. Select the features you want to change.

   Wheel Angels allows you to customize your vehicle's paint job, exhaust pipes, bumpers, roof scoops, spoilers, side skirts and wheels. Additional features include nitro, bass boost and hydraulics.
