How to Add an Over-the-Air TV to Windows Media Center
Windows Media Center is the next evolution of the Windows Media Player software. Media Center is included with certain versions of the Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. In addition to allowing you to play and manage all of your computer media files, Windows Media Center can also act as a digital video recorder and allow you to watch live TV on your computer. You just need to have a TV tuner card installed in your computer to use this feature.

Make sure your computer has a TV tuner card. This TV tuner card is required to add an over-the-air TV signal to Windows Media Center. If your computer has no such card, you will have to purchase one and install it into your computer before you can continue. External USB TV tuner cards are available at many electronics retailers.

2
Using coaxial cable, connect a TV antenna to your computer's TV tuner card. This is the same process you would go through to connect the TV antenna to a regular television set.
