How to Put a Battery in a Wired Smoke Detector
Wired smoke detectors are like any other smoke detectors, except that they are hard-wired to your home's electrical system. However, they still use batteries as a backup power source in the case your power goes out. Like any other smoke detector, the battery should be replaced on a yearly basis to ensure that the detector is in good working order. While the mechanics of a wired smoke detector are slightly different from other types, the process for putting in a battery is the same. Does this Spark an idea?
