How to Use MP3 Rocket to Open Torrent Files

Torrent files allow speedy file transfers between computers over the Internet. Unlike conventional file sharing, torrent transfers allow users to download files from others who are in the process of downloading the same files. MP3 Rocket added torrent browsing and downloading in version 5.2.3, allowing you to combine conventional file sharing with torrents in one easy-to-use program.

Instructions

      Update MP3 Rocket to version 5.2.3 or later. Check the official website in the resources section for the latest version.

      Download a ".torrent" file to your computer from your web browser and note the download location.

      Open MP3 Rocket and select the "Torrent" tab.

      Select "Open .torrent" from the "File" menu in the menu bar at the top of the screen.

      Navigate to the folder where you downloaded the ".torrent" file from your web browser and select the file to open it.

      Open the "My Files" tab when you receive a notification that your download is complete.

      Double-click on your downloaded file to open it.
