Use your TV remote to check if your TV is Smart antenna capable

Smart antennas automatically optimize the direction that the broadcast signal comes from. They provide a way for television broadcasts to be received without having to re-aim the receiving antenna for different broadcast locations--they are electronically steerable. Newer digital television signals are susceptible to aiming problems, so these antennas are particularly useful if your broadcast antennas are in various locations. The smart antenna communicates with the receiver (television) so your television needs to be capable of functioning with the smart antenna.
