Put music and Internet Explorer on your phone.

Cell phones come with many different programs and abilities. If your cell phone can surf the web, and if there is room on your phone to store music, you can do both of these things. Depending on the type of phone you have, your music and your Internet-browsing capabilities can be easy to access.

Instructions

  1. Music

    • 1

Check to see if your phone can store music. The easiest way to do this is to look in the instruction manual for your specific phone, although your cell-phone provider can tell you if you can keep music on your phone.

    • 2

Install the CD that came with your phone, if there was one, on your computer where your music is stored.

    • 3

Run the program specified for your phone. When you've opened the program, you should be able to add music to it using "add" or "import" features

    • 4

Connect your phone to your computer using the connection cord that came with your phone.

    • 5

Find the feature on your phone's program that says "sync" or "upload music." Some phones will automatically download whatever is in the program when you plug them in.

    Internet Explorer

    • 6

Contact your phone provider to see if you have a cell phone that will allow you to download a web browser. Most phones have their own web browsers. However, some phones can handle a browser download.

    • 7

Look in the instruction book of your phone to see how to download a browser. Each phone has instructions for downloading a browser. If you cannot find these instructions, it could be that your phone cannot download another browser or that you can only download a browser through your dealer.

Take your phone to a dealer to have a browser installed, or follow the instructions to do so on your own.
