How to Paint a Cement Pool
If you would like to paint your cement pool, you will need to consider some important factors. First, because cement is a poor surface for paint adhesion, you will need to select a specific type of paint formulated to adhere to masonry and concrete or you will end up with chipping and flaking over time. In addition, because the paint will be exposed to chlorine, you must ensure that it is formulated to withstand the chemical's corrosive effects or the finish will eventually bubble and peel. Tips & Warnings
Aqua Luster acrylic pool paint is good for cement pools because it requires no primer undercoating and is resistant to chlorine. If you choose a different brand of paint to coat your cement pool, ensure that it is formulated to withstand the corrosive effects of chlorine.
