How to Calculate Shoe Sizes From Men's to Women's
There are times when women need to calculate what men's shoe size they wear. For example, places that rent footwear, such as bowling alleys, ice skating rinks, roller skating rinks, and ski and snowboard equipment rental facilities, generally label the shoes with men's shoe sizes. There are other times when women may want to purchase men's shoes because they are a style that would work equally well for women.

1
Find the size of the men's shoes in question. It is usually on a label on the bottom of the shoe tongue or stamped on the sole of the shoe.
-
2
Convert the shoe size into US men's shoe size if needed, using an international shoe size conversion table. Many areas of the world, including Europe, Great Britain, Mexico and South America, use different shoe sizing scales.

-
3
Add 2 to the US men's shoe size to find the equivalent US women's shoe size. For example, if the men's shoe size is 8, add 2 to find that the same shoe is a 10 in women's shoe sizes.

4
Try on the shoes in question if possible. Shoe sizes vary depending on type of shoe and the manufacturer, so using formulas to calculate your shoe size does not always guarantee that the shoe will fit properly.
