Flash Drive Cruzer Micro Instructions

The SanDisk Cruzer Micro flash drive is a small storage device that, as of 2010, is available in many different sizes ranging from 2 GB to 16 GB. These small storage devices are extremely useful for storing and transferring various files to and from your computer. The Sandisk Cruzer Micro flash drive works like any other external storage device.

Instructions

1. Turn your computer on and insert the SanDisk Cruzer Micro into the computer's USB drive.

2. Close any dialog boxes that open.

3. Click the "Start" menu button in the lower-left corner of the screen and then select "My Computer" or "Computer."

4. Double-click the SanDisk Cruzer. The drive should be mounted under "Devices with removable storage."

5. Transfer any files from your computer to your USB drive. To do this, simply drag a file from another location into your flash drive's folder. Alternatively, right-click a file and select "Send to." Select the USB drive from the list of options.

6. Transfer any files from your USB drive to your computer. Drag files directly from the USB folder onto your computer's desktop.

7. Eject the SanDisk Cruzer Micro before removing it from your computer. To do this, right-click the drive in "My Computer" and select "Eject."
