How to Uninstall iTunes Completely From a Computer

iTunes is a multimedia player that allows you to download and play back music, videos and more. It is also the default player used for managing iPods and iPhones. You may want to uninstall iTunes from your computer if you are no longer using the program or if it is damaged or corrupt and running into frequent errors. Uninstall iTunes completely from your computer using these simple steps.

Instructions

1. Click the Windows "Start" menu and click the "Control Panel." Click "Uninstall a program" to open the "Programs and Features Control Panel." Click "Programs and Features" if you are using the classic "Control Panel."

2. Click "iTunes" and click "Uninstall." Click "Yes" on the confirmation dialog box. Uninstall the following related software:
   Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour and Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later). You can also uninstall the QuickTime media player if you are no longer using it.

3. Restart your computer to complete the removal process.
