How to Measure a Bed Board
Bed boards provide comfort for those with sagging mattresses, broken springs or injured bodies. They typically are made of wood; some can fold up, making them easy to take with you for travel. However, a bed board only helps when it is the same length and width of the bed itself; otherwise it can make health issues worse. Measuring a bed board requires only a tape measure. Place the bed board on the floor. Completely stretch the bed board out.

Measure the length. Identify the longest side, and use a tape measure to take the measurements.

Measure the width with the tape measure.

Tips & Warnings
Be sure that the end of the tape measure is completely against the end of whatever side you're measuring, otherwise the measurements will be off.
