Start Adobe Photoshop, click on File, "Open...", and use the browse window to select the image on which you wish to work. Press OK and your image will be loaded onto the workspace.

Select the "Dodge Tool" located on the toolbar and set its Range to "Midtones" and its Exposure to about 40-50 percent. To adjust the size of the tool, place it over the image, right-click, and select the size of the "Master Diameter."

If you do not see the "Dodge Tool" on the toolbar, look for either the "Burn Tool" or the "Sponge Tool", right-click on it (a list of tools will appear), and select the "Dodge Tool" from the list.

Use the "Dodge Tool" to sweep over your teeth in the picture. You will notice your teeth become whiter as you sweep over them with the "Dodge Tool." Make about three to five sweeps over your teeth, or as much as needed to achieve your desired whiteness.

If you over-whiten your teeth, press "Ctrl+Alt+Z" on your keyboard to go back one step and try again.
