How to Allow Session Cookies in Internet Explorer 7

Websites download cookies to your computer server so that you can move swiftly from one page to another on the website being viewed. Session cookies enable the website being viewed to recognize a user who moves from one page to another. They also enable a website to remember information a user enters on the site. Setting Internet Explorer 7 to allow session cookies is a simple process.

Instructions

1. Launch Internet Explorer 7. Click the "Tools" menu located on the top of the window and click "Internet Options." This launches the browser options window.

2. Select the "Privacy" tab and click "Advanced" in the "Settings" section. The "Advanced Privacy Settings" dialog box will launch.

3. Select the "Override automatic cookie handling" check box. Place a check in the "Always allow session cookies" check box. Click "OK" and then click "OK" again.
