How to Learn C# Online

C# (C Sharp) is a programming language developed by Microsoft as part of their .NET initiative. The programming language was intended to be a general-purpose language that is also "object-oriented." C# can be used to create several different dynamic computer applications. Knowing C# can open several employment opportunities for individuals working in, or looking to work in, the IT industry. There are several tutorials online that will help you to learn the C# programming language.

Instructions

1. Work through the tutorials on the C# Computing online site (see link in the resources section). This site will give you a starting point for learning the programming language. Work through all of the 25 lessons to learn the C# programming language.

2. Take the C# Station online classes (see link in the resources section). Go to the site and gather the tools needed to complete the lessons. The required tools and reading materials needed are listed on the site. Work through all of the 23 lessons to learn more about the C# programming language.

3. Take the Jon Jagger online C# programming course (see link in the resources section). The course is free and instructor-led, and takes five days to complete. The lessons are designed to teach you C# code techniques, from beginning to advanced. The course uses slides and you can contact the instructor by email at any time so that you are not left to your own devices. Go to the website. Start with Day 1 and click through all of the lessons for that day. Continue to progress through all of the lessons by clicking on the lessons.
