Update the POI for your Garmin Nuvi 750

The Garmin Nuvi 750 is a Global Positioning Device (GPS) that allows users to view their current location on an LCD display screen. While the Nuvi 750 can be used outside of a car, it is most popular for offering real-time location updates while traveling inside a vehicle. Points of Interest (POIs) are markers on the map that point out valuable locations such as gas stations, rest stops and restaurants. If you want to update the POI in your Garmin device, you can do so easily with a USB cable and an Internet connection.

Instructions

1. Type "www.garmin.com" into the address bar in your web browser. When the page loads, click "Maps">"Update Maps">"Check for Upgrades."

2. Click the "All Other Devices" option.

3. Click the "Download" button to begin downloading the update software.

4. Install the downloaded software by following the on-screen prompts.

5. Connect your Garmin Nuvi 750 to the computer using the USB cable. The device will be updated with the newest maps and POI.
