How Can I Find My Computer's Proxy Settings?

Shares & Saves

Proxy servers allow you to use another web server as a gateway to the Internet. Some business networks use a proxy server to funnel traffic through the gateway. It gives the administrator control over bandwidth usage, and inappropriate websites can be blocked. Proxy server settings are found in the web browser settings. Using Internet Explorer or Firefox, you can view your current proxy server and disable the settings.
