How to Use Lemon Juice on a Shingles Rash
Shingles is a viral infection that lies dormant in the skin. When it flares up, it causes a painful rash on the face or body. Medication is often prescribed by doctors to treat shingles. Alternative methods can be used at home to dry up the viral rash.

Cut a lemon in half with a knife.

Squeeze the juice out of one half of a lemon into a small bowl.

Dip a cotton ball into the juice.

Apply the juice to the shingle. Re-soak the cotton ball as needed.

Repeat this method six times a day until the shingles disappear.
