How to Unlock a Samsung E900

Unlocking your phone

It has become increasingly easy to store a lot of personal information on your cell phone. If this information falls into the wrong hands, it could be devastating. That is why many cell phones, like the Samsung E900 model, have security features in place to prevent access from a third party. One such security feature is the ability to lock your phone so that it can't be used by anyone without the password. This is a convenient feature and the best part is that unlocking your Samsung is quick and easy.

Instructions

1. Turn on your phone by pressing the Power on/off button on the right side of your Samsung's keypad. Wait until the main menu screen appears.

2. Press any button on the keypad and a text box will appear asking you to input the eight-digit security code provided to you by your wireless carrier.

3. Enter the eight digit code and your Samsung will unlock. If you would like to change the password on your Samsung all you need to do is press the Menu key, then select "Settings" from the list of options on screen, then select "Security," then "Change Password." Enter the default password and press OK. Then enter your new password once, then again to confirm. The password will be changed.
