How to Make a Loud 10'' Subwoofer Box
A subwoofer box is a necessity for a subwoofer. A box is not only used to hold the subwoofer, but when properly constructed, it will improve the performance of the subwoofer. A loud subwoofer box will have a sturdy construction, be made out of medium density fiberboard, and will be the appropriate size for a subwoofer. Building your subwoofer box at home also allows you to save money because commercially available subwoofer boxes can be expensive. This method will enable you to create a sealed subwoofer box, which is a basic and very popular style of enclosure.

2
Cut a hole in the back panel to fit the terminal cup. The terminal cup is the connection point for the wires that come from the amp and the wires that come from the subwoofer. The terminal cup should be placed near the middle of the panel. Drill a hole using a drill bit on the power drill so that you can insert the jigsaw. Insert the jigsaw and cut a hole that will fit the terminal cup you have purchased.

Piece together the six sides of the subwoofer box. Place the front panel on a flat surface and connect the two side panels to it. Make sure to pre-drill three holes on each side of each panel. Place some carpenter's glue along the joint and secure the sides to the front using screws. Connect the back panel in the same manner, using pre-drilled holes, carpenter's glue, and screws. Add the top and bottom panels and secure using the same method.
