The Easiest Way to Tie a Necktie

Put the tie on around your neck with the wide end on your right side.

Cross the wide end over the narrow end, then turn back underneath. The underside of the wide end will be facing out.

Cross the wide end back over the narrow end so the right side of the wide end is facing out.

Bring the wide end up, back to front, and through the loop around your neck.

Loosen the knot in front, then pass the wide end down through the knot. Pull down and straighten the wide end.

Tighten the knot around your neck if necessary. Tuck the narrow end through the small tie loop on the underside of the wide end (if there is one) to keep both ends of the tie together.
