How to Make Rounded Logos
Rounded logos can be trendy, especially online. It's simple to make a rounded logo with just a few steps in Photoshop. It doesn't matter which program your logo was created with. Rounding the edges in Photoshop is just the final touch. With this technique, you'll be able to make a wide variety of rounded shapes, including ovals, circles and round-corner rectangles.

1
Launch Photoshop and click the "File" menu, then "Open." Locate your logo, select it, then click "Open." It does not matter whether the image file is a JPEG, GIF or PNG.
-
2
Click on the "Image" menu, then hover over "Mode" and click "RGB."
-
-
3
Navigate to the "Layers" pallet. Click the "Create a new layer" icon at the bottom of the pallet. This will create a new transparent layer above your logo.
-
4
Click on the "Shapes" tool in the tool pallet on the left. Select the shape you would like your logo to be.
-
5
Go to the "Colors" pallet and set white as your primary color.
-
6
Press and hold the left mouse button to draw your chosen shape over the area in which you would like the logo to appear. Don't worry about the shape covering your logo for now. It's the area outside the shape that will be removed in a moment.
-
7
Go back to the "Layers" pallet and right-click on the shape layer. Select "Blending options" from the popup menu.
-
8
Set the "fill opacity" to "0" under the "Advanced Blending" options and click "OK."
-
9
Return to the "Layers" pallet and click the "Paths" tab. Click the arrow in the upper right corner of the pallet and choose "Make Selection." An options window will open.
-
10
Set the "feather radius" to "0." Click the "Anti-aliased" check box and press "OK."
-
11
Return to the "Layers" tab and click the logo layer. Go to the "Select" menu and click "Inverse." Then press the "Delete" key. Press "Ctrl (Cmd)" + "D" to deselect.
-
12
Click on the eyeball icon next to the shape layer to turn it off. You should now see only your rounded logo.
-
13
Go to the "Layers" menu and choose "Flatten image." Then click on "Save as" from the "File" menu to save your logo as the file format you want.
