How to Obtain a Copy of a State of Hawaii Marriage License
Obtaining a certified copy of your marriage license in the state of Hawaii is a simple process. There are minimal procedures that need to be followed in order to file a request and in some cases the request can even be placed on the Internet depending on which island and county you got married in. There is also a fee for requesting a copy of a marriage license.

Download an application from the official Hawaii vital records website and fill out the form.

Make a money order, certified check or cashiers check payable to the Hawaii Department of Health in the amount of $10 for an initial copy and $4 for each copy thereafter and include it in the envelope you put your application in. Note that personal checks are not accepted.

On a limited basis, requests for a marriage license can be placed online (www.ehawaiigov.org/ohsm) for an additional fee of $1.50 for the first copy and $.25 for each additional copy requested.
