How to Pay a Traffic Ticket Online to Rocky River, Ohio
In the past if you got a ticket in Rocky River, Ohio, you had two options for making payment on the ticket: Pay in person or mail your payment in. Most traffic tickets require you to make payment within seven to 14 days. This meant that you would need to put your payment in the mail right away in order for it to be delivered on time and avoid being penalized for a late payment. If you lived near the Cuyahoga County courthouse, you could drop off your payment. However, if you live out of state or far from Rocky River, this could be incredibly inconvenient. Use a computer that has Internet access to go to the Cuyahoga County court's "E-Payment" website. A link to this website is located in the "Resources" section.

Enter your last name into the first box on the Cuyahoga County E-Payment site. You may also enter your first name and your ticket or case number. However, your last name is the only information that you are required to enter. Click the "Find Case" button on the right side of the page.

Find your name in the search list. If you only entered your last name in the "Case Look-Up" form, you may see the names of other people who have the same last name as you do. If you entered additional information such as your case or ticket number, your case file should be the only one on the page.

Click on the "Pay Online" button. You will be taken to a secure online portal. Click to be taken to a page where your name, case/ticket number and payment amount due will be stated. You can choose to pay the entire amount or make a partial payment. Complete your payment information by entering the credit or debit card number and contact information. Click the "Submit Payment" button at the bottom of the page. You should get a confirmation page stating the amount and date of your payment. It is advisable that you print this confirmation page and keep a copy for records.
