How to Get Gold Weapons on Call of Duty 4

"Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" features a number of incentives for playing online with multiple players. As you play, you'll unlock new achievements for performing specific tasks or doing something difficult. You'll also find that each class of weapons, such as SMGs, have two sets of challenges: marksman and expert. Complete all the challenges, which generally involve killing X number of opponents with each gun, to earn golden weapons.

Instructions

1. Unlock the golden AK-47 by completing all the marksman and expert challenges with each weapon in the assault rifle class, which includes M16A4, AK-47, G3, G36C, M14 and MP44. You need to score 150 kills and 150 headshots with each.

2. Unlock the golden Dragonuv by completing all the marksman and expert challenges with each gun in the sniper rifle class, which includes M40, M21, Dragunov, R700 and .50 Cal. You need 150 kills and 150 headshots with each.

3. Unlock the golden M1014 by completing all the marksman and expert challenges with each gun in the shotgun class, which is just the W1200 and M1014. You need to score 150 kills but only 100 headshots with each.

4. Unlock the golden mini-Uzi by completing all the marksman and expert challenges with each weapon in the SMG (submachine gun) class. This includes the MP5, Skorpion, mini-Uzi, AK-74u, P90. You need 150 kills and headshots with each gun.

5. Unlock the golden M60 by completing all the marksman and expert challenges with each weapon in the LMG (light machine gun) class. LMGs include the M249 SAW, RPD and M60.

6. Unlock the golden desert eagle simply by reaching level 55 in multiplayer mode; you don't need to complete any specific challenges.
