1
Cut three pieces of leather cord to a length of 2 feet. Cut two additional pieces that are 6 inches long.
-
2
Align your three long strips, making the ends even with one another. Measure 3 inches down from one end and tie all three pieces together at that point with one of the 6-inch cords. Tie extremely tight in a double knot.

3
Separate the three leather cords and begin to braid them together. To do so, place the right piece over the center, making the center piece now the right and the original right cord the new center. Then move the left cord over the newly made center cord. This completes a full braided knot. Complete three braided knots on your project.
-
4
Tie a double knot in the current center cord after the third braided knot. Begin braiding again for six knots.
-
5
Tie double knots on the current left and right cord. Braid another set of six knots and tie a center knot. Repeat the process alternating between center knots and outside cord knots until you reach 3 inches from the end.
-
6
Tie off your bracelet with the second piece of 6-inch cord at the point that is 3 inches from the end. Tie tightly in a double knot to finish the project.

Tips & Warnings
Applying beads onto your bracelet will add color to the project. Alternate using beads and knots every six braids.
Braiding too loosely will cause your bracelet to look uneven. Braid tightly.
