Keyless Entry Remote

Keyless entry remotes for vehicles like the Honda CR-V can be programmed or reprogrammed in just minutes from your vehicle. Using only the remote itself and your ignition key, you can have your remotes ready for use immediately. A programmed remote will allow you convenient access to your Honda's door locks, trunk, panic alarm and engine starter, all from as far as a couple hundred feet away.

Instructions

    • 1

Enter your CR-V with your keyless entry remote and the ignition key and insert the ignition key into your car's ignition.

    • 2

Turn the key to the "On" position and press the "Lock" and "Unlock" buttons simultaneously on your keyless remote.

    • 3

Turn the key back to the "Lock" position.

    • 4

Repeat Steps 1 through 3, ending in the "Lock" position after the second cycle.

    • 5

Turn the ignition back to the "On" position again and press the "Lock" and "Unlock" buttons on your remote until the car responds by cycling the locks.

    • 6

Press the "Lock" and "Unlock" buttons on any additional remotes you need to program, waiting until the locks cycle after each remote.

    • 7

Turn the key in the ignition back to the "Lock" position to end the programming sequence.
