      Insert the wireless USB adapter's installation CD into the computer. Follow the onscreen instructions that appear to set up the adapter software.

      Connect the USB wireless adapter to the desktop PC using the USB cable. Wait for the PC to recognize and install the adapter.

      Right-click on the network connection indicator in your system tray, then click the option to connect to a network.
