1. Advertise on Craigslist (see Resources). Craigslist is a website that covers several major cities all over the world. You can create a free post online advertising your services. Be sure to choose your city, and if relevant, your location in the city. Also include your electrical service rates.

2. Use social networks such as Facebook or Twitter to advertise who you are. Facebook allows you to create fan pages that you can use for your electrical service, while Twitter can let you advertise specials (such as electrical rewiring) or campaigns, such as answering electrical questions.

3. Post your electrical business to online free classified ad sites such as USFreeads and Backpage (see Resources). These sites let you post free advertisements for electrical services, and these can be read by just about anyone.
