How to Charge a Samsung SGH-D807 Cell Phone on Computer
The Samsung SHG D807 is a slim cell phone with a slide out keypad. It features a 1.3 mega pixel camera, video capture and Bluetooth technology. It operates on GSM networks. The D807 also has an optional USB cable available for purchase, giving you the ability to plug it in to your home computer or laptop. Plugging the D807 into a computer serves multiple purposes. Optional software allows you to synchronize and back up contacts, transfer files or create ring tones. You can also use the cable to charge your Samsung's rechargeable lithium ion battery.

Connect the larger end of the USB cable into an available USB port on your computer.

Open the plastic door that covers your D807's charging port. This is located on the upper left hand side of your device.

Insert the smaller end of the USB cable into your phone's charging port. It should fit in the port easily and should not be forced. If it does not seem to fit, turn it over and try inserting it in a different direction. You phone will now charge.

Not all USB cables are designed for charging. Ensure you have a USB charging data cable to perform the above task.
