How to Draw Well on Facebook Graffiti

Facebook is a social-networking site that allows its users to create a profile, connect with friends, post status comments and access many different applications (games and more). Facebook Graffiti is a Facebook drawing application that allows users to use their mouse to create a piece of art and then post it on a friend's profile. Because drawing with the mouse is quite difficult if you're trying to create a masterpiece, there are tips and tricks to learn to draw well on Facebook Graffiti.

Instructions

    • 1

Log in to your Facebook account and access Facebook Graffiti.

    • 2

Create a background using the colors of your choice. You may also choose to create a "horizon" instead of a full background. The choice is ultimately up to you. If you choose a horizon, it looks better when it is outlined in black with a thinner brush.

    • 3

Draw straight lines by left-clicking and holding down the left-click button. Right click at the same time. This creates the beginning of straight line; after a dialog box appears, release the left click. Left-click where you want the line to end. Erase the last dot on the line by clicking undo.

    • 4

Zoom in by right-clicking. A small box will appear and give you three options: zoom in, zoom out and show all. Zooming in allows you to add more detail to your work like depth and other effects.

    • 5

Use small dots to create your picture, instead of long continuous strokes. Dots allow you to work at a slower pace and pay attention to detail. To make dots, just click your mouse continuously as you work instead of holding it down.

    • 6

Shade the image. Shading and highlights can make all the difference in any graphic. Shading is what gives images a more realistic look. Different colors in the right places add depth.

    • 7

Remember that practice makes perfect. Patience and practice are needed to become an expert at Facebook Graffiti.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you're using Graffiti on Facebook instead of Facebook Graffiti (two different applications), then you will be able to save your image to come back and edit it later.
