PowerPoint is the presentation software in the Microsoft Office suite of productivity applications. With PowerPoint, it is easy to present customized slide shows that deliver information in a powerful and effective way. Navigating through the slides is a simple process that involves clicking slides or arrows with a mouse or track pad.

Instructions

      Boot up your computer; go to "Start." Click on "Programs," then click on "PowerPoint" to launch the program.

      Select "File" from the menu bar, and then "Open" to select a PowerPoint document to practice navigation.

      Click on the "Up," or "Down" arrows on your keyboard to navigate up and down in the presentation.

      Select "View" from the menu bar, and scroll down to "Slide Sorter." Click on a slide, then select "Left" or "Right" arrows on your keyboard move left or right in the slide sort view.

      Click "Alt" on the keyboard, then select the slide number, and hit "Enter to navigate to a specific slide.

      Right-click with the mouse and select "Go to Slide." Click on the slide title in the menu to navigate to that slide.

      Click "Home" to navigate to the first slide in the presentation.

      Press the "End" key to navigate to the last slide.

      Select "View" from the menu bar, and scroll down to "Slideshow." Click to watch slideshow.
