How to Upload a Web Page You've Made to GoDaddy

Creating your own website is an exciting endeavor. Designing your website is the first step. The next step is uploading your web pages and files to the Internet under an unique domain name so they can be viewed by others. GoDaddy is a popular domain name reseller and hosting website. Users who host their websites on GoDaddy have the option of using the File Manager in their account to upload their website files.

Instructions

      Go to GoDaddy and select the "My Account" tab. Then log in to your account.

      Select the "Hosting" link in the left pane of the website.

      Click on the "Manage Account" link next to the hosting package that is assigned to the domain name to which you want to upload your web page. You may have several domain names and hosting packages or you may just have one hosting package assigned to a domain.

      Click on the "Your Files" button to manage your website files. You will be redirected to your File Manager.

      Select the "html" folder in the left pane of your File Manager. This is the public folder for your website.

      Click on the "Upload" icon at the top of the interface. Then select "Browse" and locate your website files on your computer and select them. They will be added to your "Upload Files" window. Once all your files are added, select the "Upload" button and the File Manager will upload all your website files to your hosting account.
